About SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
SEM (Search Engine Marketing) consists of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and PPC (Pay Per Click) or P4P (Pay for Performance). It is a type of marketing strategies on search engines to increase the amount of access and conversion of a website.
There are already several kinds of search engines, but the most preferable ones are usually Google and Yahoo! Some other engines even borrow techniques and systems from them. Therefore, we focus on theses two major search engines.
